How you can actually start to make money with Internet advertising, what steps do you take in order to get the best results? It is rather easy to become disoriented in online advertising, especially with everybody telling you that this thing or that thing is the Golden key to riches. Unfortunately, you don't know where to do to start, or even what to do to get better results? The first thing you need to do is to stop listening to what everyone else is telling you, and relax for a minute.. Ask yourself how many of the great ideas that you have read about have you actually implemented? And just out of curiosity, did any of those programs or idea's turn your online business around? For most people the answer is no. Don't be too hard on yourself, it's not your fault and help is right around the corner. Let's just figure out where you are at right now. If you are a beginner: Have you bought a Domain Name yet? Do you have a Website? Do you have an auto responder? Been in Internet marketing for 6 months: How big is your email list? How often do you send email's to your list, daily? How many products do you have or promote? Advanced: Do you get many purchases from the people on your list? How is your SEO? For every dollar you spend on advertising what do you get back? Are you making enough online to quit your day job? Now this is just a short list of questions, there are a lot more, but this should have your wheels turning. To improve on these things you need to look at how well you are executing the basics Do you think you are allotting enough time everyday to the important parts of your Internet business. And how much time do you spend chasing your tail or the latest super hot technique. Just so you know, most of the "new" programs and services that you read about online everyday, are nothing more than fluffed up stuff of the things that really work. If your online business is not where you thought it would be by now, then you need to take a step back and figure out why, and then take the appropriate steps to change what you are doing and devote time to do what really works. So how do you know how best to prioritize your time? Do what the professionals do and keep a diary. Now this may not sound very cool but it works and has worked for a lot of people for a very long time. This is really simple to do, the question is are you going to do it to improve your Internet business. Set aside time each day (or as you choose) to work on setting something up, whether it is setting up new email's to be sent out in your auto responder so you are promoting more than 1 product, or better email's to get people to take another look at your product again. Make your website copy more appealing to your visitors, submit at least 1 article a day to as many article directories you can find, and be active in forums related to your niche products. Using these simple basics on a daily basis will have you earning money. And when your start making money with the basics then you can start adding things one at a time and see if they improve your sales. Before you start with a new program ask yourself if the new program is something you can do everyday, if so give them a shot. If you write down your goals in your journal you will also need to write down what actions you need to take to reach your goals, and spend more time working on your Internet empire than reading email's that are making other people money. When you are making money these things become more enjoyable and you feel inspired to take it do the next level. So now you just need to figure out what you have to do and make a plan to get it done, once your plan is made you need to stick to it.
