Diabetes is a chronic condition that has been with many throughout their lives. There has not been any complete healing for diabetes over these 80 years. Patients somehow manage to live with it. Many patients are found to completely get cured from the condition via natural ways.

What is Diabetes? Diabetes is 'diabetes mellitus.' It is a condition characterized by high blood sugar or glucose. High blood sugar levels in the body may be due to two major causes: - Inability of the body to produce adequate insulin, which is known as diabetes type I - Insulin resistance or inability of body cells to use insulin properly, which is known as diabetes type II

Many patients have faced the two conditions at the same time. Women who are pregnant have had this condition known as gestational diabetes which causes the start of DIABETES TYPE II.

The main reason that affects the levels of blood sugar is insulin. Food taken in is converted into glucose once it enters the blood. Glucose is converted into energy. The insulin in the pancreas digests the glucose. The secretion of insulin will be released according to the quantity of sugar in the blood. In Other ways insulin might not be taken in by the cells and because of this blood sugar may shoot up.

The characteristic features of diabetes are frequent urination, feeling of hunger and thirst. Diabetics fast when they have type I which is supposed to be the striking symptom. People face extreme weight loss though they eat their food the right way. Diabetes type II is a slow condition to face that needs a regular schedule of tracking blood sugar levels.

Cells may not grow thereby leading to a condition that enumerates less processing of proteins, saving fat, problems in chemical breakdowns and acidic reactions. When glucose is not absorbed properly the normal functionality is seriously affected. The right amount of glucose will not be kept in the cell membranes and other parts that need it.

Once diabetes is diagnosed, the only option available to an individual is to manage blood sugar levels. If insulin production is insufficient or absent, then there is a need for injecting insulin. Diet modification is a natural way of managing the blood sugar levels. A diabetic person should take a diet based on foods that have less effect on blood sugar levels.
